Here we go again, another round, another ulcer. 2000 more by the end of summer that’s somewhere in the neighbor hood of 1/4th of Boise Micron. Been through this a few times now and it doesn’t get easier. Some of my friends’ jobs seem safe while others appear to be in certain peril. There will be more detail in a week or so. For now I am just hanging in there… Wish me luck
This weekend at Hooligans, Wow! Was I off my game?! went well enough and there were moments in the show where it felt fresh. But over all I felt like I was pushing through, It felt like work. I know it was just a bad night, not like a major change in the way I feel about doing all this, Still, I expect miore from myself.
Before the show, I commented I felt un prepaired. I guess I was. Next show I will be ready and tight. I promise
Just got my first Payment from CD Baby. I have made more from CD Sales at live shows but it was interesting to get actual money for digital downloads.

Just finishing up e new promo packages. These are intended for distribution to venues around town. There are 4 songs a business card and a “1 sheet” now I just need to get them passed out.
I just love TED . This talk struck such a chord with me. Near the end she talks about artistic transcendence . She makes points that are so true that the hair raises up on the back of your neck when you hear them.
This past weekend Tim and me played a gig at Music of the Vine 4 days before the show I sent out a notification by Email to the mailing list telling them about the show on the up comming Saturday(Feb 7th.) At the show we introduced ourselves to everyone individually. and gave each person a little souvineer button with our website URL on it. I know the numbers are small but the correlation is un deniable self promotion is leading vistors to our band blog.

Got my vintage Bogen amp project from Ebay yesterday and last night when Tim came over we plugged it in for the first time. All the tubes except for 1 showed signs of firing up. The 70 year old amp was ALIVE! BWAHAHAH. then just as suddenly the rectifyer tube started to spark. It was a tense 8 or 10 seconds but had to shutdown in a hurry . This morning I hit Ebay for a replacement for the rectifyer I have a feeling this project is going to nickle and dime me to death.and I have only started
