Tim and I decided to bail on our regular rehearsal night and hit the open mic at Bad Irish last night. Got there and found out that due to a scheduling conflict open mic was canceled. We found Dan Costello on the patio and invaded his table where we had a great talk about the Boise Music scene. Dan was kool enough to call his friend Kelly Lynae down at Terrapin station where she was running the Tuesday night Artist showcase and got us on stage. it was a small crowd, about a dozen but it was really nice to experience the love last night among local artists. Only in Boise can you find this kind of community. Thanks Dan, Thanks Kelly, I can’t wait to pay it forward.

Get it on paper!
I just spent 2 days trying to remember a chord to a song I had written last year. I thought I had covered myself, I recorded the song when I wrote it. I wrote out the lyrics and saved them on my computer. You would think that would be enough.. guess not. Document your songs in whatever method you can.. I almost lost this one.

Earth Day

We had our final rehearsal before the show last night and it really felt tight. We only get a half hour on stage but that just means we can put our very best foot forward

Wacom Pen tablet
Lookie at what I just bought.
I have been doing a lot more graphic design lately with all my blogs websites posters promotion materials etc etc SO I finnaly got me a tablet. I ordered it online at best buy and am excited to get it.
Its a Wacom Bamboo tablet kinda entry level but it has 512 levels of pressure sensitivity and definable shortcut buttons.
401K
Micron cut employer matching funds for 401K today. Just the latest in the steady stream of cutbacks. I just hope it helps. Rumor mill says a 2 week unpaid furlough is on it’s way
