I tripped and fell in my studio 7 weeks ago.  Since then the only time I have not been in pain is when  I sleep between being woken up from shoulder pain when I roll over in my sleep.  Most of the time My pain level is about a 2 or 3 (0 being pain free and 10 being how I felt when I fell) but it’s not so much the level of pain as it is it’s unrelenting nature. It’s enough to distract me 24 hours a day. it’s always there. And it’s not just the shoulder, my tendinitis is flaring big time, the stress is giving me headaches.  Also I think either the pain or the Advil is diminishing the effectiveness of my anti depressants. Either way I am constantly fatigued and I need a break.  From the stress, the pain and the depression.

I just don’t understand

Has anyone who is apposing showing the president’s speech to school students even read it?  Even if you haven’t read it. What is driving this fear.

Another track from the Demo

I’m sure typing this post is anti productive but the blog must go on. on Saturday morning I ran into the studio to grab my Uke and stumbled on microphone cables that live on the floor. As revealed in the title to this post, I wiped out, skinned my knees and hyper extended my right arm. Hurt like hell. I immediately went into shock could not stand up.  Spent the morning debating whether to go to hospital or not. It’s Monday morning and since the fall 48 hour have passed. I have had a massage and that helped allot and I have regained 50% movement. I am reserving my self for the show on Sunday.

I am feeling very urban right now, Taking a me day skipping work and spending time with myself chilling out at my favorite coffee shop sippin on a latte. Listening to Acousticats new CD 9 Lives on my lap top. the breeze on the sidewalk tables feels nice and the shade is keeping it cool. going shopping for a new computer later but right now I am content to sit and take in the city.

I can’t wait to call Boise city gvt offices and have them put me on hold.

A while back I entered a song for consideration in something interesting Go Listen Boise was doing.

Is a project to produce 3 30 minute loops to play on hold music for local gvt. offices by local artists.

Today I was notified that one of my songs was picked for inclusion on those tapes. I am jacked whooo hooo

Fun in the sun at Julia Davis Band shell Goddess Fest 2009  is brought to us by Crones cupboard Boise Co-Op and Tates Rents. every year this event just keeps getting bigger and better.
